The Sentinel can now confirm that the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Rotary Club has agreed to announce the winners of the HF-L Community’s first ever Readers’ Choice Awards at its annual Casino Night on Friday, February 9th, 2018. In partnering with this popular community event, The Sentinel hopes to help promote local businesses. “Many community newspapers offer businesses the opportunity to spread their messages through an annual Readers’ Choice Awards contest,” says Chris Carosa, publisher of The Sentinel. “By joining with the Rotary, we see this as a way to add more excitement to an already exciting evening.”
The Rotary Club’s annual Casino Night is being held at the Mendon Golf Club on Friday, February 9th. Festivities begin at 5:30pm, with soup/deli bar at 6:15. The Sentinel 2018 HF-L Community Readers’ Choice Awards winners will be announced at 7:00pm and the casino tables open at 7:30pm.
