The 4th Annual Winter on the Green will be held on Saturday, January 26 at Mendon Golf Club, 226 Mendon-Ionia Road in Mendon from 7 p.m. til midnight.
This year the annual fundraising event will benefit Craig Winter, an eight-year-old battling a rare form of brain and spinal cord cancer since he was two-years-old. He has endured over 200 rounds of chemotherapy and 10 surgeries while being treated at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Last June, his cancer progressed and he is now in a clinical trial at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. His parents, Kim and Tim, are balancing his treatment while traveling back and forth from Boston to Rochester while also taking care of Craig’s two young sisters.
