Mark Erdle of Springwater NY was elected Deputy Director of the Antique Wireless Association (AWA) and its Antique Wireless Museum at a special meeting of the AWA Board of Trustees, and Joseph Fell III of East Fallowfield PA was elected to a trustee position.
Robert Hobday, AWA Director, welcomed them, noting that both bring a wealth of experience and management skills to AWA.
The Antique Wireless Museum, established in 1952, is located at 6925 Route 5 in Bloomfield, New York 14469, just east of the Route 444 intersection. It is open to the public Tuesdays 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturdays 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Visitors can drop in on the radio operator aboard the Titanic (before it sank), sit at the massive Voice of America control board, see the evolution of the cell phone and much, much more.
