LEGAL NOTICE
VILLAGE OF SCOTTSVILLETAKE NOTICE, that I, the undersigned Collector of Taxes, for the Village of Scottsville, Monroe County, New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the present fiscal year and that I will collect taxes at the Wheatland Municipal Building, 22 Main St., Scottsville, New York, from June 2, 2025 through July 1, 2025. The office hours are Monday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, on all such taxes remaining unpaid after July 1, 2025 interest of five percent (5%) will be added for the month of July, and an additional percentage will be added for each month thereafter until paid.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of Section 924-A and Section 1456 of the Real Property Tax Law, the unpaid tax roll will be returned to Monroe County Treasurer on November 1, 2025. IF YOUR TAXES ARE NOT ESCROWED, AND YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A TAX BILL, please call the office at 585-889-6050.Dated: 5/20/2025
