    LEGAL NOTICE
    VILLAGE OF SCOTTSVILLE
    ELECTION

    A General Election of the Village of Scottsville will be held on March 15, 2022, between the hours of Noon and 9:00pm. To be elected are the following:
    One (1) Village Mayor – Four (4) Year Term
    Two (2) Village Trustees – Four (4) Year Term

    The Wheatland Municipal Building, Senior Center, 22 Main Street, Scottsville New York 14546, has been designated as the polling place for the election.

    Please take notice that the following persons have been nominated as candidates:

    Village Trustee – Bruce Andrew Fraser, 117 Heather Lane, Scottsville, NY 14546; Andy for Scottsville

    Village Trustee – Andrew J. Peck, 221 Briarwood Lane, Scottsville, NY 14546; Our Village Party

    Village Trustee – Maggie Ridge, 44 Rochester Street, Scottsville, NY 14546; Village Advocates

    Please also take notice that the following proposition will be on the ballot:

    Shall the Village of Scottsville allow retail sales of cannabis within its boundaries.

    Registration with the Monroe County Board of Elections automatically qualifies residents for the Village Election.

    SPECIAL NOTE: There will be no Registration Day in the Village. The last day for the Monroe County Board of Elections to receive a registration form to be eligible for the March 15, 2022 Election is March 4, 2022 and the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Absentee Ballots can be requested in person up until March 14, 2022 at the Monroe County Board of Elections, normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    Residents may mail in all registration forms or absentee ballot request forms or come in person to Monroe County Board of Elections, 39 W Main Street Room 106, Rochester, NY 14614. Residents may also call Monroe County Board of Elections with questions at 585-753-1550. The last day for the Monroe County Board of Elections to receive an application for an absentee ballot to be mailed is March 8, 2022. The Board of Elections can receive personal applications for absentee ballots up to March 14, 2022.
