Out of concern for Mendon Fire Department members and the community at large, the Mendon Fire Department carnival is postponed indefinitely, according to fire department officials.
Community health regulation changes, as well as available future dates, will be investigated at a later date (after Memorial Day) to see if the carnival can possibly be held later in the year.
On a positive note the Mendon Fire Dept. Auxiliary will be holding a Chicken Bar-B-Que on June 5, 2021. Event times, prices, and other logistical information will be available at a later date.
UPDATE (5/12 1:07 pm): The Mendon Fire Department will announce further details on this year’s carnival on Friday, May 14, 2021. We’ll report it here as soon as it is available.
