There are still a couple of weeks left to enjoy the toys on loan at the Mendon Public Library from the Rochester Toy Library.
The Rochester Toy Library sent a few large totes of toys to the Mendon Public Library to showcase the items available for loan from this amazing resource housed in the Lincoln Library a couple of months ago..
Through the end of July, Mendon Public Library patrons can check these toys out from the Mendon Public Library just like any other item. Additionally, Monroe County Library card holders have access to the toys throughout the year by visiting the Lincoln Branch or by requesting them online through the holds system. To search toys online at libraryweb.org, type “Toy Library” into the search bar and then filter by toy on the left-hand side of the screen. Over 275 toys are available for routing to your local branch. Toys can be returned to any library.
In addition, several Nature Backpacks are also available for loan. The backpacks are on loan from the Central Library and feature several nature themes, including water, trees, weather, and birds. To search these items online at libraryweb.org, type “Nature Backpack” into the search bar.
