How many times have you heard parents give their children a stern look because the kids want to do what all the other kids are doing? Whether it’s rock’n’roll, baseball card collecting, or video games, childhood fascination for most of these activities end in a harmless way. But, every now and then, these “hobbies” become obsessions and those kids become MTV pioneers, sports memorabilia mavens, and internet millionaires. For most of us, the hobbies a long gone but not necessarily forgotten. They can turn up in the oddest ways, and there’s usually a good story in that.
