West Bloomfield Historical Society will host a free public program by Peter Wisbey, collections curator at Genesee Country Village and Museum, on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Society, 8966 Rt. 5 and 20.  The program will focus on the creation of the living history museum by John “Jack” Wehle, president of Genesee Brewery, and include slides of the actual obtaining and moving of the village’s historic buildings.  Wisbey has been with the museum since its earliest days and worked closely with Mr. Wehle as he developed the village using the best examples of 19th century architecture in the Genesee Valley.
