Each year local high schools send a chunk of their graduates to Ithaca College. This past week we learned its president had been convicted of misdemeanor sexual abuse charges. With a former patient no less. Worse, Ithaca’s Board of Trustees knew this and still hired her. This week’s Carosa Commentary “Did Shirley M. Collado March in the Women’s March?” concludes it’s time for the president and all those responsible for vetting her to resign.
