The two stores at 28 and 30 South Main Street are connected from within and feature several book rooms and areas featuring unique gifts, décor, and accessories.  New fiction and non-fiction selections as well as an extensive offering of cookbooks, design books and other special interest categories are available for browsing and exploring.  Book events, author events and community gatherings will be a regular part of the Book Culture Pittsford programming.

Book Culture Kids’ Cottage features welcoming kids friendly décor and seating for young children and parents. The Kids’ Cottage offers children’s books as well as toys, educational gifts, and games.

Book Culture operates bookstores in Manhattan and Long Island City.  From its roots as an academic bookstore serving Columbia University and Barnard College, Book Culture has grown into one of the leading independent bookstores in the NYC metro area.  President and founder, Chris Doeblin, grew up in Western New York, and has recently moved to Pittsford Village with his wife, Susan, the principal buyer for the stores, and their two daughters.  We are thrilled to write the next chapter of Book Culture in the charming Village of Pittsford, and we are excited to be open for the holiday shopping season.”
