There’s a natural tendency among many of us to think less of ourselves than we should. In a way, the makes us better people. In a different way, it sometimes presents an obstacle towards sharing ideas that have the potential to significantly improve the lives of other people. We are fortunate, then, when we happen upon people that refuse to believe we are nobodies. That’s the sense of the story that’s shared in this week’s Carosa Commentary “A Lament for All the Nobody’s Out There.”
