GCC’s newest degree, Nanotechnology AAS, prepares students of today to enter high-tech careers of tomorrow. Technicians specializing in nanotechnology are needed in biology, chemistry, electrical engineering, medical laboratories and computer/electronical manufacturing. Nanotechnology is everywhere – from biopharmaceuticals to biotechnology, electronics to semiconductor fabrication, material and environmental sciences to biochemistry, as well as information storage, energy, medicine, security, food and so much more. GCC Nanotech students will be on the cutting-edge of tomorrow’s high-end careers. The first course is offered on Fridays from 12:20 – 3:25 p.m. at the Batavia Campus.
Another dynamic course, Introduction to Creative Problem Solving (CPS101) is offered on Wednesdays from 12:20 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. and will help students in every academic division make the most of their studies by developing individual creative potential. Focus will be given to the interactive elements in deliberate creativity and innovation, including the creative process, creative product and the creative environment. The course is also offered through the convenience of online learning.

If starting classes at the end of August is not doable, GCC’s late-start, 12-week session begins on Monday, September 19, 2016. For all the class options at GCC visit: www.genesee.edu/courses/schedule.
