Silver Award project coming to Lima.
Smith Schaefer and Girl Scout Troop 60775 are working on a Silver Award project and need the community’s help.
The project is a lending library for playground and dog supplies called “The Black Top Box” which they hope to install at Mark Tubbs Park in Lima (7384 Ziegler Drive in Lima). The troop needs the community to add supplies to the supply boxes now at the Mendon Public Library and Lima Public Library before September 30th.
Needed supplies are jump ropes, chalk, bubbles, footballs, kickballs, tennis balls, ball pump, hoola hoops, dog treats and dog toys. The troop will accept new or lightly used supplies.
