Local Girl Scouts have researched and creatively shared over 20 Women’s History Posters in a library display as part of Women’s History Month. The posters feature illustrations and facts about several important women, including Ruby Bridges, Frida Kahlo, and Michelle Obama. The Women’s History Display will be available for viewing at the Mendon Public Library through the end of March.

History Talk: Sandra Day O’Connor, Tuesday, March 17, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Teens and Adult: It’s Women’s History Month.  Let’s learn more about Sandra Day O’Connor, an American attorney, politician, and jurist who served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1981 to 2006. Nominated by President Ronald Reagan, O’Connor was the first woman to serve as a U.S. Supreme Court justice.
