Did you ever wonder how it feels to be the “player to be named later” in a trade? It turns out that would pertain to the Greater Western New York Region. The English monarchy, among the other messes it created in Colonial America, made a mess of Greater Western New York. It wasn’t until 1786 that this was finally corrected. Read all about it – and why December 16th is our region’s birthday – in this week’s Carosa Commentary “Happy Birthday Greater Western New York!” which is excerpted from a chapter in my book 50 Hidden Gems of Greater Western New York.
Happy Birthday Greater Western New York!
