The Honeoye Falls-Lima High School National Honor Society held its annual induction ceremony last week and 63 students were inducted, adding to the existing group of 51 members.

HF-L NHS President Brody Burke welcomed the soon-to-be inductees at the start of the ceremony, held at the District Auditorium on January 24. Mr. Robert Callens, a physics and technology teacher at the high school, was the keynote speaker at the ceremony. Following Mr. Callens, four officers of the HF-L NHS spoke on the four characteristics that are necessary for induction: Leadership (handled by Secretary Braeden Weaver), Scholarship (presented by Vice President/Academics Eliana Cantwell), Service (made by Vice President/Service Henry Burke) and Character (presented by Treasurer Aiden McLean). Matthew Ross, who is in charge of public relations for HF-L’s NHS, introduced each one of the new members who came to the front of the stage to sign the NHS member book.
