The Honeoye Falls-Lima Middle School Treble Choir and Middle School 7th and 8th grade chorus loved going to the Darien Lake Music Festival on June 8 and they loved it even more once the festival was completed.
Both the Treble Choir and the 7th and 8th grade Chorus earned an “Outstanding with Distinction” rating, which is the highest ranking possible. The Treble Choir received first place in the Middle School Treble Choir category. The 7th and 8th grade Chorus took second place in the Middle School Chorus category, said Middle School Choir teacher Barbara Salter. Clara Boldt collected an “Outstanding Soloist” award.
In addition, eight Middle School students participated in a solo festival at Wayne Central School on May 18.
