The annual Spaghetti Dinner and Dancing fundraiser, sponsored by the Honeoye Falls-Lima Music Boosters to benefit the district’s music department, will be Friday, February 10 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the HF-L Middle School Cafeteria.
It will be dine-in or take-out. Dinner will include spaghetti, salad, bread, butter, dessert and beverage. Dinner entertainment will be provided by HF-L students.
After dinner, the floor will be cleared for square dancing from 7-9 p.m. with Jim Kimball and the Geneseo String Band.
Advance ticket prices are $6 adults, $3 for children under age 10 and a family maximum of $20. Tickets are available from high school music teacher Mark Borden or middle school music teacher Marlene Lowenthal or a check can be made payable to HFL Music Boosters and sent to Bonnie Crittenden, 147 East Street, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 or you can call 624-7160.
Tickets at the door are $7 adults, $4 for children under age 10 and a family maximum of $24.
Proceeds from this fundraiser and the poinsettia sale in December fund various items for the district’s music department as a supplement to what comes to the department through the district budget.
“In the last six months, the proceeds from the fundraisers have funded two scholarships to graduating seniors in June, some equipment at the elementary schools, moving and tuning a piano that was donated to the Manor School, varsity letters given out at the high school music awards night and some financial support for this year’s high school musical The Pajama Game,” Borden said.
