Department hopes to attract new members
The Honeoye Falls Fire Department will be holding an Open House on Saturday April 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. As volunteer numbers continue to decline, department officials hope to use this day as an opportunity to highlight the services they provide to our community and raise interest in volunteering. Residents are encouraged to come to the fire house between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for equipment demonstrations and presentations by our volunteers. Light refreshments will be served along with kid friendly handouts and as always tours of the trucks as well as the firehouse will be available.
We hope residents will take this opportunity to come join us and ask our firefighters any questions they may have about the fire service or what it is like to be a local volunteer firefighter.
