Activities as varied as 3D printing, LEGOS and Keva Planks to Pom Pom Transfer, Simon Says and Duck, Duck, Goose were available for kindergarten and first-grade students at Lima Primary School’s Maker Faire and Field Days on June 6.

The Maker Faire is an annual event giving the students the chance to sample many different things to make, learn about and play with. This year, the weather did not cooperate so students were indoors for all activities.

Students could decorate bags, make a Plant A Seed necklace, create things with LEGOS, participate in an Animal Hospital with stuffed animals, participate in musical games, learn about 3D printing, build a fort with Make Do kits, create art during an art activity, make temporary tattoos, have their face painted, get some glitter hair gel, build a robot, learn about lasers, build things with Big Blue blocks, take apart small items and make things with Bee Bots and Keva Planks. There was also a photo booth station.

Games such as balloon games, Pom Pom transfer relay, parachute, Simon Says, Freeze Pops, Four Corners and Duck, Duck, Goose also provided fun for the students.
