The community enjoyed a day of shopping, food and family fun at this year’s 2nd Annual Mendon Festival held on Sunday, September 8th. The Mendon Community Business Association hosted many unique artisans along the Lehigh Valley Trail. Strolling through the market, visitors could find one of a kind pieces like handcrafted candles, metal sculptures, knit items and so much more. There were even young entrepeneurs selling their crafts at the Mini Moguls Market at Westminster Weddings and Events.

The Mendon Community Business Association unveiled their new Hamlet Map. The map was illustrated by the talented, Mary Pat Clemens. Prints will be available for purchase through the MCBA.

The bike parade was enjoyed by all. Children showcased their decorated bikes and were greeted at the end of the trail by HF-L’s Varsity Football Team. The youngest riders received the loudest cheers, embodying the family friendly atmosphere of the event. The lucky winner received $100 in cash and a prize pack from Mendon Cyclesmith.

Live Music filled the air throughout the day. Everyone enjoyed performances by Jon Lewis Music, Unparallel Band and The Bob Sima band.

The Mendon Community Business Association is sure to continue this wonderful festival where family, fun and community are always at the heart of the event.
