The Mendon Community Business Association (MCBA) is hosting the 2nd Annual Mendon Festival on Sunday, September 8th from 12:00- 5:00. The festival will take place at Mendon Station Park along the Lehigh Valley Trail. Over 30 artisans will be selling jewelry, clothing, children’s items, candles, seasonal décor and so much more.
After browsing and shopping, grab a cold drink and enjoy delicious food from the food trucks. Pat’s Pigs, El Kapitan and The Sugar Shack will be in the Westminster parking lot. The area eateries will also have food and drink specials. You’ll enjoy live music in the music tent during the festival. Opening the festival will be ‘HF-L Highlights’ presented by CJ Tomaszewski. Jason Being hosts local singers and songwriters from 1:30- 3:00. All the way from Florida, Bob Sima’s band, Where The Light Gets In, will be closing out the festival from 3:00- 5:00. You will leave uplifted by this inspirational folk band.
The MCBA will be presenting their newest creative project. A hand drawn, illustrated map of this beautiful Hamlet will be unveiled at 1:00. Prints and other merchandise will be available.
At 4:00, you’ll see a parade of children showing off their decorated bikes. The HF-L Varsity Football team will be greeting the kids at the end of the bike parade for a meet and greet and autographs.
New this year is the Little Moguls market inside Westminster. From 12:00-3:00, support the youngest entrepreneurs while they sell crafts and handmade items. Let’s celebrate their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit! Mendon Village Commons will be hosting a flea market from 9-3 with vintage items and clothing.
At Home With Wellness holistic wellness center will be hosting an open house. In addition, they are presenting a free screening of LYME MASTERY: Your Roadmap from Detection to Wellness. This newly released and highly regarded masterclass delivers an in-depth awareness for an integrative approach for overcoming Lyme disease. Their mission is to raise awareness around Lyme disease and thus are providing this free screening for the community 1:30-3pm in the chapel at Westminster.
Parking for the festival will be available at the baseball field, Mendon 64, St. Catherine’s and Mendon Village Commons.
