The Monsignor Schnacky Community Players are back this year!
We are so excited to be providing the community with warmth laughter and some respite from what we have endured the past two years. Last year, our show was virtual and it just wasn’t the same. We were missing you our audience whom we love dearly. Never fear, we are back and ready to have you jeer for the villain and cheer for the hero.
Our show this year is The Dastardly Doctor Dogsbreath Devereaux. Don’t you just love an alliteration? Doctor Dogsbreath Devereux is one of the doctors at Hanover D Cash Clinic. Lotta Cash is Hanover’s widow. The evil Doctor Devereaux has his sights on marrying the widow and then conveniently getting rid of her and taking all of her money for himself. His partner in crime, in her opinion partner for life, is Nurse Hilda Hatchet. She has her sights on being with the evil doctor and helping him with his evil deeds. Nurse Wendy March is new who falls in love with Dr. Phil Good. Will the evil doctor get away with it?
You’ll have to come and see the colorful characters and corny jokes that we all have come to expect from our melodramas.
Performances are Friday, February 11 at 8pm, Saturday, February 12 at 1pm and @ 8pm. And the next weekend Friday, Feb 18 and Saturday February 19 at 8pm. Don’t want to go out in the cold?
