From waking up inside hibernation cells to being trapped in an abandoned meat packing plant, Mythical Escapes’ game themes are uniquely refreshing as the business is now open in Pittsford at 1169 Pittsford-Victor Road, Suite 100. Thrilling storylines, engaging puzzles and tasks, room design, lighting and sound effects add up to create a game environment that you will lose yourself in.

Every player will feel compelled to take part and give their best as they race against time to accomplish the mission to escape the room!

Escape rooms combine scavenger hunts and puzzle-solving to create a fun group activity where teams must figure out how to escape the room within the 60-minute time limit. Game master Scott Joss will be watching and listening and can provide clues as needed.

Scott Joss is the founder and owner of Mythical Escapes. Scott started his game design career at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he was a game design major. He spent the past two years learning the escape room business at another escape room in the Rochester area.

Mythical Escapes’ first two rooms were designed and built by Thrill Builders in Madison, Wisconsin. Groups will have 60 minutes of fun problem solving in “Eat or Be Eaten” or “Cryosleep.”

“Trial of Zeus”, designed by Joss, is expected to open in late 2022. “Trial of Zeus” will take teams back to ancient Greece where they will have 60 minutes to solve Joss’ version of the labors of Hercules.

Mythical Escapeshas has escape room games that are perfect for date night, kids, families, corporate groups, birthday parties, scout groups, team building and just having fun. Each room can accommodate 2-9 players at a time, 18 total if both rooms are booked together.

Check out Mythical Escapes at www.MythicalEscapes.com. We’ve all been through a lot in the past 2 years. It’s time to have fun again!
