Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty advises the arrest of a Hornell resident on drug related charges.
On February 1, 2016 at approximately 3:56pm Sheriff’s Deputy Brandan J. Flickner of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office STOP DWI Unit conducted a traffic stop on Rochester Street in the Village of Lima for an equipment violation.
The rear seat passenger of the vehicle was identified as 27 year old Trevor W. Waldren of Hornell. Through the course of the roadside investigation, Waldren was alleged to be in possession of five bags of heroin.
Waldren was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and turned over to Sheriff’s Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and arraignment in the morning.
The operator of the vehicle was charged with the equipment violation and is to appear at the Town of Lima Court at a later date.
