What’s the best way to solve a problem? Find a metaphor. For those of you who, like me, spent the better part of high school rebelling against English teachers, a metaphor is a direct comparison. In this case, I mean find another arena – no matter how unlike it may be to the arena of your problem – and see how they solved the problem. It just may turn on that proverbial light bulb in your head.
