Marianthi Stakos was honored at the annual Livingston county Teen Recognition Banquet held at the Genesee Valley River Inn in Mt.Morris. She was recognized for exceeding everyone’s expectations in the program she was enrolled in. She worked incredibly hard to prove she is capable of succeeding at an academically high level. She self-advocated through High School conquering advanced placement courses. She is an outstanding role model for the peers. She is shown in the above picture with Supervisor Yendell.
The other Lima honoree was Maddie Childs who was unable to attend the banquet. Maddie exemplifies confident public speaking and models appropriate behaviors to others, Her inner being is kind, sincere, and wise which has earned her the respect of her peers. She is a sensitive hard working young woman and was elected Homecoming Queen this year. She is an excellent role model for her peers.
