There once was a time when w joyfully distinguished our differences by celebrating our sameness. In fact, we even created a holiday just for that purpose. It is a holiday that’s meant to honor and uplift or national purpose. Although one ethnic group has since adopted it as their own, it was originally and remains the single holiday that glorifies, beyond the wisdom of the Founding Fathers (that’s Independence Day), how all American citizens not only embraced the philosophy of the Founding Fathers, but promoted that sameness over their own personal individual differences.
