The Kade Project will host a fundraiser at UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Victor, NY on Monday, September 11th to raise money and honor the commitment of our local first responders. UNO Pizzeria & Grill will be donating up to 20% of proceeds brought in by supporters. Anyone wishing to participate in the fundraiser, which is valid on all dine-in and takeout purchases that entire day, can ask for a fundraising voucher at the restaurant.

The Kade Project is a local non-profit organization, which honors the life of Kade Edward O’Brien. Kade was a Honeoye Falls resident and graduate who was also a U.S. Marine who served his country by being twice deployed to Iraq as part of Operation: Iraqi Freedom. Following Kade’s return, his life was tragically cut short in 2011. The Kade Project strives to continue his legacy by recognizing and giving back to others in the community.

In addition to recognizing those who put service before self, The Kade Project provides financial support to local youth for various academic, athletic, community and social improvement endeavors and sends care kits to United States military personnel deployed overseas on active duty. Items included in the care kits are provided via donations and also purchased with the organization’s funds.
