A traditional crowning of Mary took place at Saint Paul of the Cross Church on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025.
Anna Anderson had the honor of placing the crown of flowers on the statue of Mary while parishioners gathered singing songs of praise and peace.
This annual Catholic tradition is a special way to honor Mary in the month of May.
It has only rained once in the 11 years of this Mother’s Day tradition….and surprisingly, it held off this year!
