Local State of Emergency

I, JOHN D. MOFFITT, THE CHIEF ELECTED OFFICIAL FOR THE TOWN OF MENDON, PURUANT TO THE POWER GRANTED UNDER ARTICLE 2B, SECTION 24, OF THE EXECUTIVE LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, DO HEREBY FIND THAT A PUBLIC EMERGENCY EXISTS, TO WIT:

AN OUTBREAK OF COVID-19 IN MONROE COUNTY AND SURROUNDING AREAS, WHICH EMERGENCY IMPERILS THE PUBLIC SAFETY OF THE CITIZENS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF MENDON (EXCLUDING THE VILLAGE OF HONEOYE FALLS).

I DO HEREBY PROCLAIM AND DECLARE THAT A STATE OF EMERGENCY DOES EXIST WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF MENDON (EXCLUDING THE VILLAGE OF HONEOYE FALLS), EFFECTIVE UPON THE EXECTUTION OF THIS PROCLAMATION. THIS STATE OF EMERGENCY SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR 30 DAYS UNLESS AND UNTIL RESCINDED OR EXTENDED BY ME FOR AN ADDITIONAL 30-DAY PERIOD.

3:30 O’CLOCK, P.M. IN MENDON, NEW YORK.
