Twins Never Part

Too often we take for granted words like “fraternity” and “brotherhood.” The deeper meaning of these words – the meaning they convey in literature and in all traditional society – refers to that special bond between twins. The read each others’ minds. They feel each others’ pain. They have each others’ back. Without living the experience, this kinship of brothers, though, can never fully be described. Nonetheless, just such an attempt is made in this week’s Carosa Commentary “Twins Never Part.”
