The Village of Honeoye Falls is pleased to announce that it will be holding a Public Open House for the Village’s 2019 Draft Zoning Code Update. The Open House will be held on Tuesday, February 26th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Mendon Community Center located at 147 North Main Street, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472.
The Village of Honeoye Falls has undertaken this update of its current zoning code to ensure compatibility with current community development preferences and to improve clarity and understanding of the regulations. This zoning update is also the first step in making sure the Zoning Code is consistent with the Village’s overall community vision as outlined in the adopted 2014 Comprehensive Plan. The Draft Code is intended to implement the recommendations of the 2014 Plan and support the Village’s overall community development vision.
The intent of this Open House is to ensure residents have the opportunity to review and comment on the Draft Zoning Code and Map before it is considered by the Village Board for adoption. The Open House will provide an informal setting in which to ask questions and discuss the draft. Attendees may arrive and leave at any point during the Open House. A copy of the Draft 2019 Zoning Code and Map is also be available on the Village’s website for public review: www.villageofhoneoyefalls.org.
All residents, business and property owners, community leaders, and individuals with an interest in the future of the Village of Honeoye Falls are encouraged to attend and provide their input on the Draft Zoning Code and Map. The Village looks forward to hearing from you!
