The Wheatland Historical Association is pleased to present Cynthia Howk, Architectural Research Coordinator for the Landmark Society of Western New York in a fascinating look at the rich history of the community through its buildings, structures, objects, and sites that are fifty or more years old in a presentation entitled “Discover Wheatland & Scottsville: 200 Years of Historic Architecture” at its April 19 meeting at 7 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 9 Browns Avenue in Scottsville.

Historic houses, landmark churches, iconic farm buildings, notable schools, picturesque cemeteries, historic transportation and industrial sites, and lastly, our historic fish hatcheries will all be included in the program.

Ms. Howk is well known throughout NY and the northeast for her expertise about the Genesee Country, and may have the widest array of visuals on the subject that exists. We hope to see you at our wonderful venue, another historic treasure, Grace Episcopal Church. For more info, contact Gloria Slater 571-4936.
