Monsignor Schnacky Community Players proudly presents “Way Out West in a Dress”. Here we meet the wonderfully talented Clarence Rawlins and his fearless theater troupe as they travel to Lucky Lady, Nevada. Clarence’s great-great-aunt, Iva Fortune, has left him her place of business in her will. Because of Aunt Iva’s terrible handwriting, he thinks it’s a saloon but, in reality, it’s a salon. Which poses a very interesting and funny premise to say the least. Meet the fun characters of Barbara Seville and Eileen Dover, Phillip Glass, the bartender, and R. I. Peay, the undertaker who are members of the town of Lucky Lady. Watch as the villians, Colt Revolver and Jessica James, daughter of Jesse, as they plot to rob the town bank in a very interesting way.
All of this promises to be a fun night for everyone. This annual event benefits St Catherine of Siena Church. It is a ministry that gives lightness and laughter to our community every year. It’s a family friendly show that promises to keep you laughing all the way through. This is our 39th season and we are still going strong. All people in this group volunteer their time. Your friends and neighbors have worked for months to bring to life this quality show. If it wasn’t for our patrons’ generosity, we wouldn’t have the lighting needed to present this show.
