The Village Of Honeoye Falls would like to announce that after 20 years of service to our community village trustee James Alfieri has resigned as he plans to move outside the village. Jim served on the village planning board before becoming a village trustee.

In his time as a village trustee Jim has been involved with many projects and served as liaison to the Honeoye Falls fire department. While Jim was always open to enhancing the village and moving business and development forward, Jim’s concern for our community residents and trying to keep our tax rate as low as possible was always important.

Jim is a lifelong resident of the Village growing up here and then purchasing his current home on Monroe Street from his parents.

Jim and his wife Penni will now create a new chapter in their lives together as they move to Henrietta. Their daughter and son-in-law have purchased the family home.

On Wednesday, July 1st, Mrs Jackie Main was appointed and sworn in as Village Trustee to fill the seat left by Trustee Alfieri’s resignation.

Jackie has been involved within the village community in various capacities and active in ROTARY for years. We appreciate Jackie stepping into this role.
