This Halloween, the Rotary Interact Club at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School organized a COVID-safe Trick or Treat event for members of the community.

The day began at Pinehurst Senior Living Community, where participants were encouraged to show off their Halloween costumes. The children paraded by the windows and waved to the senior citizens at Pinehurst. Participants were then sent on a planned Trick or Treat route. Local businesses that were involved in the event were marked off with balloons. Many members of both Rotary and the Rotary Interact Club helped in the event, handing out candy at the businesses and directing people throughout the village. Overall, the event was very successful, many kids participated and sixteen local businesses contributed.
