Nipa Armbruster joins Mendon Public Library Board of Trustees
At the February meeting of the Mendon Public Library Board of Trustees, Anne-Marie Gordon was recognized for her years of service to the Mendon Public Library. Anne-Marie has served on the Board since 2016, most recently as Recording Secretary. A public school librarian by day, Anne-Marie provided valuable library insight during her years as a trustee.
Nipa Armbruster accepted the invitation to join the Board at that meeting. Nipa is a community member and avid reader who looks forward to serving the library in this new position.
Currently, the Mendon Public Library Board of Trustees includes: Cristina Romig (President); Alicia Zysman-Cromwell (Vice President); Craig Moscicki (Treasurer); Alison Zero Jones (Corresponding Secretary); Timothy Boldt; Tom Ochsenhirt; and Nipa Armbruster.
At any given time, a five- to eleven-member Board of Trustees governs the Mendon Public Library. The trustees are responsible for establishing written policies to govern and guide all aspects of library service. This includes future planning for the library, financial accountability, setting policies, and hiring a director for the Mendon Public Library.
