Blues music along with the ever popular bed race and many children’s activities mean that it is time for the annual Lima Crossroads Blues Festival.
For the eighth consecutive year, the festival will be benefitting Camp Good Days and Special Times as part of its mission.
The three-day festival, which brought together the former one-day Lima Crossroads Festival and the Lima Blues Fest, begins Friday, Aug. 3 and continues through Sunday, Aug. 5. The Festival will feature family-friendly activities including the Anything Old parade, Water Ball tournament featuring the Lima Fire Department, Bed Race, Euchre tournament, and numerous different musical performances of local Blues groups throughout the weekend. In addition, Lima Rotary will be holding a Bike Rodeo.
While admission to the festival and most events are free, there is a registration fee for the ever-popular Bed Race and the Euchre tournament. Both of them, though, have cash prizes for first, second and third place.
