In response to the record flooding in Houston, Texas, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust has partnered with Leonard’s Express of Farmington to collect funds and supplies for the affected area through the month of September.

All 24 branches of Canandaigua National Bank will be collecting funds that will be donated directly to the Houston Food Bank for disaster relief. Leonard’s Express will also collect monetary donations and supplies at their headquarters located at 6070 Collett Road West, Farmington. Both monetary and physical donations will be collected through Saturday, September 30th.

Approved donations collected will be transported by Leonard’s Express to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army in Houston for distribution.

Donations Most Needed are diapers, pull-ups, baby wipes, Baby powder, diaper rash cream, baby shampoo and lotion, Infant formula, Basic hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrush, soap, shampoo, razors and shaving cream, deodorant, hand sanitizer, etc.), Sunscreen and bug spray, Non-perishable food items (canned food, crackers, cereal, protein bars, peanut butter), Household cleaning supplies (sponges, mops, dust masks, brooms, etc.) and New towels and blankets, metal shovels and rakes, coolers and bottled water. NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME because they are already on-site are: Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, and feminine hygiene products.
