The Sentinel’s own Tim & Deb Smith have released their second book just in time for the holiday season. This one is titled Tit For Tat Exchanges ~ Tim & Deb’s Greatest Hits. It compiles what they consider to be their finest literary achievements. At this point they have written almost two million words and as they say in their introduction, Tit For Tat Exchanges compromises the best 50,000 of those words.

As reflected in their work for the Sentinel their subject matter features an eclectic variety of topics including entertainment, sports, history, and human interest. One unique aspect of this book (which is targeted for a national audience) is that some of the stories occur right here in your own backyard. At least a dozen of you who subscribe to this publication are mentioned by name.

There are not a lot of opportunities to go to Amazon or Barnes & Noble and order a newly released book that has multiple references to Mendon, Honeoye Falls and Lima. If the idea is occurring to you that this might be a nice holiday gift with a unique local flavor, you would be right. And if you would like to save yourself the tax and shipping you could swing through beautiful downtown Mendon, stop by their place at 3907 Rush Mendon Rd., and they would gladly sign and personalize a copy for you. Arrangements for this can be made by emailing tsmith40@rochester.rr.com or calling (757) 408-3312.
