The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is inviting Public Comment About a Cleanup Proposal for the State Superfund Site on the Southwest End of Old French Road in Mendon.
NYSDEC is accepting public comments about the proposal through March 27, 2020.
NYSDEC also has scheduled a public meeting on March 19, 2020 at 6:30 PM at NYSDEC, Region 8 Office, 6274 Avon-Lima Road, Avon, NY 14414 to discuss the proposed remedy and accept public comments. Please see fact sheet for details about the proposed remedy, meeting, and comment period.
