Honeoye Falls-Lima senior Tommy Eastman became the first boy in HF-L boys basketball program history to go over 1,000 points on Friday Night (February 5) against Irondequoit. His 1,000 point came on a layup with just over two minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Eastman has been on varsity four years and is a three-year starter.

“He has been an outstanding leader, being a captain for the past two years,” varsity coach Kevin Neenan said. “It’s a great accomplishment and he deserves it. He has done it the old-fashioned way, too. He works hard and is probably one of our hardest workers in practice. He is consistently working on his game. But, as good a basketball player as he is, he is just a wonderful young man. He has great academics and is involved in National Honor Society and other clubs and activities in school and in the community.”
