A “conserve water” alert was lifted in the Village of Lima for residents on Monday morning, January 28.

The order had been put in place Sunday afternoon as a precaution after Department of Public Works crews and Livingston County Sheriff’s Department deputies feared there had been a major water main break. DPW crews investigating the situation, however, found that it was an electrical issue which impacted the water level monitoring system and fixed the problem.
