The Friends of the Mendon Public Library recently partnered with Benson Enterprises to update the Memorial Garden at the library entrance. The lovely garden contains over 200 bricks that were reclaimed from the Mantegna property prior to the construction of the current library. Each engraved brick includes a thoughtful messages coined by patrons who wish to support the library.
The Friends Memorial Garden was originally installed in the summer of 2013 by local Eagle Scout, Anthony Garcia.
The Friends continue to accept brick orders. For more information about purchasing a brick, stop by the library or visit www.mendonlibrary.org (support the library tab). The bricks cost $150 for the first brick and $100 for each additional brick.
