The Friends of the Mendon Public Library now offer beautiful, handmade, book-themed adult and child facemasks for sale at the library. These lovely masks, made by a new Friends member, are priced at $8/adult, $7/child, or three any size/$20. The masks are made of 100% quilting cotton (quilting cotton is strong, tightly woven, and washes easily.) Mask design includes a nose section to help prevent glasses from fogging and have adjustable toggles for better fit and wearing comfort. They are a perfect way to stay safe, share your love of books, and support the library all at the same time. The adult version features a colorful shelf of books while the child version features bears and other animals with books. The facemasks are available for purchase at the library during open hours. Cash and checks made payable to the Friends of the Mendon Public Library will be accepted.
The Friends also maintain an in-library bookstore that has a great selection of popular, almost-new books, photo cards, red Mendon Library tote bags, and library prints. Located in the front of the library by the circulation desk, the bookstore is open during library hours and offers wonderful, inexpensive gifts! Gift certificates are available also. All sale proceeds benefit the library.
