With a minimum 3.63 grade point average and numerous leadership roles in clubs and teams at the high school along with countless hours of community service, the 54 new members inducted into the Honeoye Falls-Lima National Honor Society on January 16 exemplify the four pillars of NHS.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Dianne Witkowski, a Co-Advisor of the club, and NHS President Quinn Ackerman. Witkowski noted that the first induction of NHS members in Honeoye Falls occurred in 1957 and that the book the inductees were going to write their names into is the original book used in 1957. High School Social Studies teacher Melissa Boldt presented the keynote address.
Officers of the HF-L High National Honor Society talked about the four pillars of NHS: Secretary Nathan Edom discussed scholarship, Public Relations officer Lily Clark had the topic of leadership, Vice President-Community Service Riley Swetman talked about service and Treasurer Vega Chen discussed character.
