Last month, 16 students from Honeoye Falls-Lima Middle School and High School took part in the Junior High and Senior High Area All-State Music Festivals.
Those students selected for the Junior High Area All-State Music fest were Alana Khona, Andrew Stansbury and Emily White (Band), Amelia Somers and David Tuller (Mixed Chorus), Edward Brown, Calvin Burke and Henry Burke (orchestra) and Mary Repass (Women’s Chorus).
Students who participated in the Senior High Area All-State festival were Daniel Atkinson, Reese Perkins and Will Tomaszewski (Band), Alec Bhaskaran, Sydney Picciotti and Megan Reinke (Mixed Chorus) and Hanna Coria (Treble Chorus).
The students auditioned last spring with individual solos. They were among students from an eight-county area around Rochester chosen for the festivals.
