Located on eight acres in the historic village of Honeoye Falls, Pinehurst is an independent senior living community celebrating 25 years of serving seniors in our community. A community-wide celebration and Open House is scheduled for Thursday, May 19 from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. to commemorate this joyous occasion. Music, appetizers and drinks will be available, as well as the sharing of many Pinehurst stories. Consider stopping out to join in the fun!

In addition to these festivities, residents will enjoy a Silver Jubilee Breakfast on May 11, and a special edition of the newsletter, The Pinehurst Times, will be made available and feature stories about the history of Pinehurst.

Pinehurst was developed and opened by The Conifer Group in 1991, and was acquired by Episcopal SeniorLife Communities (ESLC) in 2015. The addition of Pinehurst was consistent with ESLC’s plan to expand into new neighborhoods and reach seniors as they age in their place of choice.

“Pinehurst has a rich history in the Honeoye Falls area, and we are excited to celebrate this 25th Anniversary with community members,” said Deanna Flaitz, Director of Pinehurst. “We remain committed to quality senior living for now and many years to come.”

Pinehurst Residents enjoy spacious one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, and a carefree lifestyle without the worry of home maintenance or household chores. They also offer senior fitness classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m., and a new Zumba class was introduced recently on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. The residents love the high energy and movement of this class! In the near future, Pinehurst will launch the Honeoye Falls Neighborhood Program – a member-based, health and wellness program for seniors in the community.
